Modern Website Design.
I’m a London-based designer who creates websites that are distinctive and highly functional. None of my websites look the same because each the need of each client is different.

Georgia Kaufmann’s wonderful new novel The Dressmaker of Paris has recently been published. For her website, Georgia wanted a design that reflected the elegance of the book’s subject – so for the design I used graphical elements from the book cover, and adopted a clean, elegant layout.
With the book’s publication in Italy, Australia and UK – not to mention Poland, Russia among others – it is set to be a tremendous success. I’ve added a multi-language facility on the website – currently it’s available in English and Italian.

Katie wanted a bright, impactful website to spotlight her dance and fitness classes in Brighton and Hove. She had some wonderful studio photos – and these I used in the design.
The website uses the Elementor layout plugin to create eye-catching graphics, animated elements and a design that seamlessly adapts to smaller screens.
A vibrant pink and warm grey colour scheme completes the design.

The fabulous singer, Georgia Mancio, asked me to give a new look to her website, adapting an existing graphic design. We also created new sections for her albums, projects and press reviews.
WordPress provides an excellent platform for organising large amounts of information – whether it’s reviews, news stories, events etc – allowing the visitor to find it quickly and easily.
Georgia’s new album Quiet Is The Star is out shortly. Absolutely beautiful songs, beautifully sung. Definitely worth a listen.

My good friend Tamsin Collison is a multi-talented writer and director. She wanted a new website to display her portfolio of work, including her projects as a librettist and lyricist and the large number of audiobooks that she has directed (everything from Beowulf to Ian Rankin).
Most of all, she wanted a clean, professional website that was easy to navigate and highlighted her range of expertise.

The Dream Factory is a website that I have helped to maintain and develop alongside a small team of other volunteers and workers.
The Dream Factory is a charity that helps children and young adults who have life-threatening conditions or who suffer from severe disabilities.
Because of COVID-19, most of their fundraising events have been cancelled. Now more than ever, they need their website to stay in touch with the public and to help raise money. If you would like to find out more about this worthwhile and valuable charity, please visit their website.
Everything You Need To Know
(and some things you don't)
Now for some jargon. I design websites mainly using WordPress which is an extremely popular CMS (content management system) that allows you to update the website yourself. I also use Joomla for more complex websites or static design for simpler designs.
All my designs are responsive – meaning that the website will automatically adapt to display on all types of devices. Like desktops, laptops, iPads, iPhones or smart phone. Just like this website!
My website include many components such as slideshows, galleries, music players, embeds, social network feeds, feedback forms, subscriptions lists (MailChimp) etc – everything you need to make your website fully functional.
I can build a site to an agreed budget or on a hour by hour basis. At the end of the job you will be supplied with full access, passwords etc. There are absolutely no tie-ins. Though naturally I’m happy to offer you as much on-going support as you need.
